Chapter Length

How long do y'all prefer to have your chapters? Either reading or written? A lot of books I read tend to have upwards of 20 pages in a chapter sometimes... but when I write sometimes I can struggle to meet a page req per chapter if I set my own limit. Personally, I usually go for 10-15 pages per chapter.

I let my chapters go as long or short as they need to to accomplish breaking up ideas, characters, scenes, travel montages, etc.

I'm about the same as Anna, I just type as many pages as I want. My first ones tend to be a little short, but as my stories progress, they gradually get longer. I have read some novels that have had really long chapters and then suddenly there's a like... a two or three page chapter. It varies on the sequences going on in the story in my opinion.
